Internship

Entrepreneur du Monde, a French micro finance NGO that has founded STEP. Even if STEP is fully independent, EdM still provide financial and technical support.

This great experience was for me a way to discover the world of micro-finance which I did not know before. I had several missions, starting by the communication of the NGO (Post on Facebook and website). During my internship STEP decides to create a new website and I help them with this task.

We had several discussions with Abhijit Bera, the director of STEP, that have leaded to this current website. I also had to deal with fundraising initiatives: I have contacted several international companies (LOreal, Hermes, Dassault System) to present our NGO and ask for funds. We currently try to develop a Beautician Vocational Training for the women in the slum in cooperation with LOreal. STEP also has several partnerships with some Crown Funding institutions, which ask for several projects descriptions.
